This is a working draft of the "Complete Bibliography - by Book Code" bibliography chapter in my forthcoming book, (ca. 2028), FolkLib Index: Wisconsin Discography. The links on this page go to the complete bibliographical details for each book which is on the Web site, and which will be included in the published Complete Bibliography - by Author and Date chapter of this book. Only Authors and Titles will be listed in this chapter. Note: not all of these books will be referenced in this book. This is a list of every book I have used in my discographical research since 1991. All of these books include biographies and/or discographies of more than one musician, except those with numeric book codes, e.g. #0001, which are detailed on the Single Musician Bibliography page.

These book codes are like Library Accession Numbers, in that the codes are assigned in the order the books are added to the Bibliography by Author and Date. Because these codes are cross-reference linked throughout the Web site, and will be referenced by code in this book, once assigned, they will not be changed or deleted. For example, #iv will always refer to the same book, no matter where the code appears on the Web site or in this book.
