Minkus Cachet Identifier -- Minkus Numbers Cross Reference

This page lists all 52 Jacques Minkus (1901–1996) designs in alphabetical order by the text which appears in each design. Each listed "JM-n.n" Minkus Catalog Number assigned by Dr. Richard A. Monty (1935-2013) also lists a cross reference to the three other World War II patriotics Catalog Numbers assigned to Minkus designs by Lawrence Sherman and George Linn (1884-1966). Following each Catalog Number is "/p.A", a complete index to where every design is listed/pictured in each book.

See my Minkus Cachet Identifier page for a one page display of all 52 designs in Minkus Catalog Number order. See my Philatelic Bibliography (Patriotics) page for all books I know about that list and or show WW II Patriotics.

"-- p. nn --" = an index to where each design is described in Dr. Monty's book
1:S# = Lawrence Sherman (1999) - all 52 designs, with some designs pictured in black and white
Due to the addition of 1400 new cachets merged into the 2nd edition in alphabetical order, all of the Catalog numbers in the 1st edition became obsolete.
2:S# = Lawrence Sherman (2006) - all 52 designs, with some designs pictured in color
L# = George Linn (1943) - all 52 designs listed as text only
M# = Michael Mellone ("Specialized Catalog ... of the 1940's") (only 5 of the following are pictured in black and white in the 1984, 2nd ed.)
           JM-1.3 -- JM-1.8 -- JM-2.2 -- JM-2.3 -- JM-2.9
#nnn/p.A/p.B = for Sherman and Linn, p.A = the page the text is listed, and p.B = the page the design is pictured by Sherman
