U.S. Scott #UX47 Postal Card had no designated FDOI so
no cachets exist (2¢ + 1¢)
UPSS S64 / Minkus PC43
I don't own any of the U.S. Scott #UX47 (UPSS #S64 / Minkus PC43) Postal Cards displayed on this page. I found all scans on
eBay, other sites and in back issues of "Postal Stationery", the
United Postal Stationery Society (UPSS) journal. See also
UPSS at Wikipedia.
The 8-01-1958 rate change caused the U.S.P.O.D. to surcharge 750,000 UX38/S54 cards that G.E. had already purchased and printed on the back. The cards were mailed out about January 1959 exclusively by GE, so there was no designated
FDOI and no cachets exist.
Wanted: 300 bpi / 600 pixel wide (or greater) .jpg scan of any unlisted ad variety [ALSO any variety marked with ***]
Email it to: henkle@pobox.com
Subject for this page: Doug Henkle unlisted UX47 GE ad
(an email with any other subject or
with any other graphical format will be ignored
IF it has an attachment)
ETR = electronic tube repair (UPSS, #165, p. 63)
