Wisconsin Big Bands
|
Recordings released by Big Bands from Wisconsin. This refers to
groups that play non-rock popular dance music comparable to the Glenn
Miller Orchestra of the 1940's. Jazz bands are listed on the
Jazz Discography
page. Every group on this page will be listed
in my forthcoming book,
(ca. 2028),
FolkLib Index: Wisconsin Discography.
However, as discographies for
Bunny Berigan and
Woody Herman
have already been published in two or more other books, none of their
titles will be listed in my book.

Ring Orchestra, The Don

This is not "The Dick Jurgens Orchestra"]
- McFarland
Note: Because these recordings are illegally labeled,
"The Dick Jurgens Orchestra, Directed by Don Ring",
they will not be listed
in my forthcoming book. None of the members
of the band will have a Session Discography at this site or be mentioned
in my book. As far as I know Don Ring has never released any recordings
under his own name.
