Cachet Display Catalog: FDC Cachetmakers Index
Minkus Cachet Identifier
-- Minkus Numbers Cross Reference (this page)
This page lists and displays all 52 Jacques Minkus (1901–1996) designs in alphabetical order by the text which appears in each design. Each listed "JM-n.n" Minkus Catalog Number assigned by
Dr. Richard A. Monty (1935-2013) also lists a cross reference to the three other World War II patriotics Catalog Numbers assigned to Minkus designs by Lawrence Sherman and George Linn (1884-1966). Following each Catalog Number is "/p.A", a complete index to where every design is listed/pictured in each book.
For those who collect the cachet color varieties documented in detail by Richard
Monty in his book, this page does not refer to them. The goal of this page is to display only one FDC example of each Scott number known to have been serviced on each design without regard to Monty's color varieties.
See my Minkus Cachet Identifier page for a one page display of all 52 designs in Minkus Catalog Number order. See my Philatelic Bibliography (Patriotics) page
for all books I know about that list and or show World War II Patriotics.

What's New on this page -- changes since 11-17-2021:
08-06-2022
08-06-2022:
1) Minor corrections.
2) Reordered these entries into reverse chronhological order, the most recent first, the same as the "What's New" sectiosn on my other pages.
03-16-2022
1) Added all FDC scans I have for JM-1.4, JM-1.5,
JM-2.5 and JM-4.3 .
2) Beginning with these four, started adding an index of every FDC known to exist by
Richard A. Monty as of May 1977. Each FDC he listed is in italics, e.g. #907.
03-15-2022
1) Added this "What's New" section.
2) Started adding scans to this page of those covers that appear on other pages here. Added JM-1.3 and JM-0.9 from
#936 . Note that these and the 03-13-2022 additions above are only FDC's. No patriotic usage covers will be added. For those two scans noted now with "not FDC", JM-3.7 and JM-4.5, they will be
replaced with FDC scans when I find them. Also, I will be adding an example unserviced blank when these Minkus Numbered FDC scans are added, if I have one.
03-13-2022
Started adding all FDC scans I have for individual Minkus Numbers, but only one example for each
U.S. Scott Catalog number. I have over 200 scans, so this will be a slow process. Added all FDC scans I have for:
JM-1.2 and
JM-2.2 .
03-12-2022
Added one scanned cover example for all 52 Minkus designs on this page.
