Canceled by its host for nine years,
Future Neenah, Inc. [Archive],
due to the renovation of Shattuck Park, the Festival's home. Sometime in
the Spring of 2004, they decreed the Festival would go on "hiatus" for a
year and resume the following year after the Park was finished. However,
to the local Jazz community, that was unacceptable. The Neenah Jazz Fest
was reorganized by John Harmon, Jim Putman and friends, moved to Menasha,
and renamed to "Fox Jazz Fest". Neenah lost its Festival permanently.
