      Except for #796,  #799-NIP6b and #901, all other displays are courtesy of James T. McCusker's Public Auctions listed above. All Volker cachets in this Auction were sold and the Auction scans were deleted. The large scans for #863 - #897 were the few scans I saved from the Auction site before they were all deleted. After that, the scans for #902 - #940 I could only find in "Google Images" and they are all too small to show sufficient detail. I do not own and I have never seen in person any of the cachets documented on this page.

      Note: These cachets were previously identified that they were created by someone named Mook, first name unknown. I have seen no proof that there ever was a Cachetmaker named Mook. David S. Zubatsky is researching the biography and cachetmaking activities of William J. Volker. Per Mr. Zubatsky, "Volker was a mail carrier and many of the names on his covers were the name of his people on his mail route."
