MILWAUKEE -- The Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) has announced additions to the lineup of its 24th Annual Awards Ceremony, held Monday, April 26, 2004 at Potawatomi Bingo Casino in the Northern Lights Theater.
The James Elbert Band (JEB) is the latest addition to the lineup of bands and artists scheduled to perform throughout the ceremony. Bringing the blues to the lineup, JEB builds on the influences of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Muddy Waters to create its style and sound. The sextet of Muskegoans delivers rock-laced, blues-oriented cover and original songs.
Immediately following the ceremony, a Post-Show party will be held in Potawatomi Bingo Casino's second floor Woodland Dreams Conference Room with music by Mulligan's Groove.
Complete with entertainment, cash bar, and hors d'oeuvres, the Post-Show party provides an opportunity for networking with performers, presenters, and industry professionals.
Previously announced, other performers throughout the show include Salt Creek, Fat Sandwich, Something Phonic, Jina Jurner and the Jikettes, Michael Angelo Batio, Boo Radley Band, Strong Medicine, and Sunspot. The night's MC will be Milwaukee-based guitarist Greg Koch, while Mrs. Fun, with special guests Janet Planet and Juli Wood, will be the evening's House Band.
