This page displays World War II Poster Stamps from the "The Spirit of '42" Stamp Album produced by The Los Angeles Times in 1942. The individual stamps are listed in order of the Number that is printed on the stamp, which is also the order they are listed in the 7-1/2" x 4-3/4" album that was sold to house the stamps. The artist's name, "© 1942 Martin Allen" appears on all 48 stamps. All covers displayed with two Poster Stamps were serviced by Mae Weigand.
