      This page lists Composers, Lyricists and Arrangers, of mostly Classical, Broadway, Film and Choral Music, who have an entry on this site because, 1) Acoustic musicians have recorded songs by them or have written words to their melodies, 2) they have written music our First Congregational Church Chancel Choir of Oshkosh, WI has performed, 3) they are mentioned on one page or another, 4) they are related to a musician listed on this site or 5) they may be mentioned on a future page. However, although the thousands of Singer/Songwriters listed on this site are also composers, they are not included in this page.

      There are also a few poets, but only if musicians have composed melodies to go with their words and the resulting songs appear on at least one released recording, or they have recorded such songs, e.g. Robert Burns (Jean Redpath) and Emily Dickinson (Joyce Andrews).

      Those names with a link have either a Wikipedia Page or a Composer's home page linked to on this site. Those with no link have no known on-line biography page and are not listed in any music reference book in my personal library.
      Work in Progress Note: I am adding an entry for every name on this page, whether I can find anything on-line about them or not. Stay tuned.
