This page displays First Day Cover (FDC) Cachets for U.S. Scott #1827-1830 which I purchased in the 1980's or found on the Web since 2018.
At this time most of the cover scans displayed were found on the Web. I scanned some of my personal collection, noted by "{A}", enough so that there is at least one cachet displayed for every entry. I will scan the rest of my over 200 other #1827-1830 FDCs some other time. "First Cachets" listed but not displayed are pictured in black and white in the Catalog, but I have not seen a color copy of those covers.

Cover scan, the best a flat-bed scanner can do of a 3-D object, two photos and the filler by Geri Peltin
explaining how the cover was made. I don't recall who I bought this cover from in 1981. Other than the one saved by the Cachetmaker, which I have not seen, the location of the other three covers is unknown.

The backs have "20/25" and "21/25". I have never seen any other covers like these. So the question is, is this two sets of 25 with two different maps, or one set with 25 different maps?
