Also, please write if you know of links for, or on-line information about, any musician listed.

From the various spellings of this genre, I have used Wikipedia's "Hip hop music" and "List of genres of hip hop" as "Official". It is also known as: "Hip Hop", "Hip-Hop" and "HipHop".

          As far as I know, nobody has ever published a hip hop music discography that listed musicians by location.
