FolkLib Index - Wisconsin Spoken Word Artists

      This page lists Wisconsin-based recording artists, who to my knowledge have never appeared on a recording as a singer or an instrumentalist. The following types of people and recordings will be listed here: ministers and sermons, storytellers, comedians, sound effects, historical recordings of non-musical events, plays with no music, poetry readings with no music, and any other similar non-musical recordings.

      Please note: as this is a Web site about musicians and recordings, I will not list any Wisconsin resident storyteller or comedian who has never appeared on any recording. Also, Wisconsin authors who have released only "books on tape", etc. will not be listed. If you know about another Web site that lists Wisconsin Storytellers and/or Wisconsin Comedians AND which Wisconsin city they are from, I would be happy to link to it.
